This section is where I record trivia about the Harry series.
*-The Sentry Droid in the Office Block episode of Halloween Harry/Alien
Carnage is an obvious reference to George Lucas? How so? His security camera picture (displayed during Diane's
briefing for Office Block) displays the serial number THX 1138, a reference to Lucas's first movie.
*-The music in Halloween Harry/Alien Carnage is actually composed of modified MOD music files. A post over at the apogee forums (See a thread on my forums) actually claimed these could be extracted and made playable in a standard MOD music player.
*- v1.0 of Halloween Harry was actually an exclusive, though incomplete, release for a UK PC games magazine demo disk.
*- v1.1 was the official release of Halloween Harry, on October 10th 1993. v1.2 was released a month after this.
*- In 1994, a year after Halloween Harry had been released, Apogee suggested changing the name of the game, to increase its marketability. Interactive Binary Illusions and Sub Zero Software agreed, and so v1.0 of Alien Carnage was released on November 2nd 1994.
*-Due to the name change, the order of the game's four episode was changed around. Where previously Office Block was episode one, it had now become episode 3, changing places with The Sewers, however the episode graphics in Alien Carnage's mission
briefings still showed their original mission numbers. (IE: Office Blocks was still labeled "mission 1" while The Sewers was still
labelled "mission 3".). The other side effect of this name change was that Apogee actually ended releasing half the game for free.
*- Interactive Binary Illusions later changed their name to Gee Whiz! Software, the name Zombie Wars was released under. Gee Whiz! itself is now
defunct, but many of it's staff went on to work for Krome Studios.
*- Zombie Wars was released in 1996.
*- Zombies Wars was first released as an unlockable demo. Essential, you downloaded the full version of the game, however, only a demo
specific level could be played. (This level wasn't in the commercial release). To access the rest of the game, you registered and were sent a code that, once entered, unlocked the rest of the game. It was also sold
commercially as well.
